Woolworths Moss Vale

Woolworths is planning a new neighbourhood shopping centre and Woolworths supermarket in Moss Vale, NSW.

The centre will bring a range of benefits to the local area including a wider range of fresh produce, grocery, and household items, as well as new job opportunities for local residents.

It will also include a range of specialty retailers and service providers, as well as cafes and restaurants.

We lodged a development application with Wingecarribee Shire Council in August 2023 and have responded to further requests for information from Council in the period since, and incorporated community feedback into the design of the development.

Project Update – June 2024

Woolworths has been working closely with Wingecarribee Shire Council to progress our application and respond to the issues raised in submissions. We have conducted additional studies and made changes to the application in response:

• We have relocated Delivery truck access to Argyle Street (Illawarra Highway) rather than Hoskins St
• We have reduced the size of delivery trucks.
• We have conducted further acoustic modelling which confirmed noise levels were compliant.

We look forward to the project progressing and working closely with council and the community through the assessment process.
